Miquel Vila Moreno,

Miquel Vila is a Non-Resident Fellow at the Orion Policy Institute (OPI) and a geopolitical risk analyst and consultant. He is a specialist in China and the Indo-Pacific regions, geoeconomics, nationalism, social movements, and political elites. He is a founding member and Executive Director of the Catalonia Global Institute. Miquel taught Chinese and Japanese politics and history to graduate students at IBEI and is a frequent contributor to publications like World Politics Review, Unherd, Palladium Magazine, El Temps, among others. Miquel Vila received his Master of Arts in International Security from the University of Groningen and his Master of Arts in Chinese Studies from the University Pompeu Fabra and the Beijing Foreign Studies University.
